The What Else? Show "Class in Session"

In our latest episode, Travis reflects on the Vikings first win of the season and gets an on-air text from his mom. Zach reveals the one joke he would tell to a stranger. Also, don't forget to check out the W.E? Show Documentary created by U of M journalism student Mike Peden.

It Is What It Is

But if you never try, you’ll never know. Sure, Coldplay made that line famous in Fix You, but it’s a saying we like to say often behind the scenes here on the What Else? Show. Taking a gamble and starting from scratch isn’t easy, so when you see progress you get excited. And we are.

Earlier this week, Big Ten Network Web News Editor Brent Yarina had a nice write up about the show on the BTN’s site. In other news, our friend Maggie from ALLIED Advertising, Publicity and Promotions is teaming up with the show to give YOU – our loyal fans – free advanced movie screening tickets to see Eagle Eye on Thursday September 25 at 7:30 p.m. (at the beautiful St. Anthony Main 5). If you’d like tickets, email us at whatelsemedia@gmail.com.

Lastly, but certainly not least, former Gopher men’s basketball center Spencer Tollackson checked in with us from Germany this week. Tollackson is in his first few months overseas after four-year tenure at the U. Just because he is in Deutschland doesn’t mean he isn’t keeping track of what is going on back in the states:

“Hey boys it’s Spence. It’s been too long. I would just like the both of you to know that I am big fan of the show and watch it whenever I can. I would like to take a little time right now to rub it in to Trav about the Vikes being 0-2 and the Pack being 2-0 long live Green Bay.”

Who will finish with a better record this season, the Pack or the Vikes? Vote in our new poll.

The What Else? Show "Freshmen Orientation"

Back in school and back on air. The What Else? Show taped a new episode Monday afternoon before the Packers (much to the dismay of Travis) went on to beat the Vikings (much to the delight of Zach). Travis gives advice to freshmen across the country, while Zach recalls the Bach Stein Story ... And much, much more. Enjoy.
